The Green Room

Crisp and fresh. The easterly exposure always remains cool & cozy, it has a private view of  the woods and glimpses of the lake & beach.  A queen size sleigh bed , luxury linens and special touches gives this room the ambiance of a honey moon suite. The ensuite bathroom features a roomy shower with a local river rock floor.

Has a heritage theme featuring Victoria’s grandfather's hooked rugs and her Mother’s silk paintings. This room has family flexibility. Twin beds or a king...your choice. There is a third twin bed in a small windowed space. I call it ‘the fort’ which is cozy for a child although it has accommodated golfing buddies & women who want to share a room when attending the popular RootsnBlues music festival.

The Orange Room

In 1922 this was Alvera Bruhn’s room, the daughter of Rolf & Sarah Bruhn.  Cozy, but large enough for a desk and queen size bed, it’s the perfect perch to watch the eagles & osprey soar or the train winding along the shoreline.

Mid season $175.00 - High season $185.00
$20.00 for third person.

For groups who don’t mind sharing the bathroom, there's a family rate. Guests are encouraged to enjoy and relax in the living room complete with a wood burning fireplace or listen to music in the den. TV, VCR, 'free wireless internet' are available. Upstairs on the guest floor the library, a former maid's quarters houses a desk, guest fridge and a small collection of books, magazines & tourist information.
